Building West Michigan's Finest Homes for Over a Century

Since 1924, Vander Meulen Builders has been crafting beautiful homes throughout Holland, MI, and West Michigan with a commitment to quality that spans four generations. As a local, family-owned business with over 100 years of experience, we've earned the trust of countless homeowners by delivering superior craftsmanship, personalized service, and attention to every detail. Our team of skilled carpenters on staff ensures that every project meets our exacting standards, while our recognition as People's Choice in both 2025 and 2026, along with our Best Kitchen award in 2023, reflects our dedication to excellence that our community recognizes and values.

Our comprehensive approach to home building and our commitment to staying current with industry standards make us different. Our Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designation demonstrates our expertise in creating homes that adapt to your changing needs, while we're actively working toward our Green Home Builder (GHB) certification to offer environmentally conscious building solutions. We handle all required building and construction permits, carry full liability insurance, and provide a 1-year limited warranty on our work for your peace of mind. If you're working with your own designer and architect or need recommendations, we collaborate seamlessly with any professional to bring your vision to life, ensuring your home building experience is as remarkable as the final result.
